Aaron Young has been singing for as long as he can remember. He was raised in a musical family, including his father whose bachelor’s degree was in Vocal Performance, and a grandmother who grew up performing with her family in Vaudeville. From an early age Aaron was taught to sing skillfully, and during his youth he sang in the Sherman Children’s Chorus for several years. A gifted communicator and teacher, Aaron brings knowledge, skill, heart, and a gift for making complex ideas simple and understandable to every lesson.
Aaron’s desire is to help every student sing comfortably and confidently. With popular singers setting unrealistic expectations by straining their bodies and using digital tuning, so many people are discouraged or even ashamed of their own voices. Aaron advocates that understanding how best to sing safely and well is the sure way to fight that unfair comparison and make song a part of everyday life.
