Madeleine Bolz is a graduate composition student at Southern Methodist University. She received her Bachelor’s of Music Performance in Horn Performance from Northern Illinois University, studying with Dr. Langenberg. Since then, she has experience teaching private lessons, both with her own studio and with a private lesson organization, Your Performing Arts Center in Yorkville, Illinois. She also has ten years of experience as a viola player, giving her a clear understanding of the Orchestra, both in regards to performance considerations and Horn literature.
Madeleine Bolz made the experience of our granddaughter learning how to play the French Horn quite successful. —Carol Robbins, Grandmother of Student
Madeleine has a unique passion about music and the musical growth process. She absorbs information with thought and excitement, incorporating musical lessons into her own style, providing personalized meaning along the way. —Marc Beth, Instructor of Music Technology at Elgin Community College
For the last twelve years, I have had the pleasure of working with Madeleine Bolz, first as a private Horn instructor and now as a compositional mentor. She is a triple threat on Horn, Viola, and as a composer. But most importantly, she has the heart of a teacher. —Dennis Ostermann, Director of Bands Emeritus, Marquardt School District 15, Composer, Keyboardist
Madeleine is eager to help and guide students to a level of musicianship that they never knew they could obtain. Madeleine is convinced: After that first taste of excellence, they will be unstoppable.
