Ms. Hamblin is a champion of new music and often performs works written for different members of the flute family, Alto Flute being a favorite choice.  She has had the pleasure of collaborating with and premiering works by up-and-coming composers, and maintains an active commercial and recording presence.  Her music has reached the ears of millions of listeners worldwide via live international television and radio broadcasts.

Ms. Hamblin is a seasoned orchestral musician and has performed as flutist of the Meadows Symphony Orchestra, Garland Musical Orchestra, Utah Valley Wind Symphony, and Timpanogos Symphony Orchestra.  She has extensive history performing operas and Broadway-style musicals in addition to the standard orchestral and wind ensemble literature.

As a teacher, Ms. Hamblin focuses on building an uplifting environment where students can excel with excitement.  Her students are confident performers in any setting, whether that’s All-State auditions, solo recitals, youth orchestras, or chamber performances, and are known for their artistry, beautiful tone, and clean technique.
