Susan Williams

Classical Voice, Piano

Susan Williams, M.M., M.M., CAGO, offers instruction in piano and voice for ages five through adult.  Susan has over 30 years experience as a music educator in the areas of piano, voice, and choir, both in the classroom and private studio.  She is organist/choirmaster of St. Benedict’s Anglican Church, Rockwall, Texas.

Susan received a Bachelor of Education Degree in Vocal Music from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant where she studied voice with Betty Wintle and Pablo F. Pedraza, and piano and organ with Dr. Mary Ann Craige.  She continued her vocal studies with Virginia Dupuy and organ study with Dr. Larry Palmer at Southern Methodist University in Dallas where she earned a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance on a full scholarship.  Susan continued organ study with Dr. Isabelle Demers and Dr. Margaret Harper at Baylor University in Waco where she earned a Master of Music Degree in Church Music with organ emphasis on a full scholarship.  Additionally, Susan holds a Colleague Certificate from the American Guild of Organists.

In their spare time, Susan and her husband Bob enjoy board games, travel, and spending time with family.
